As a Purchaser at ABF Bearings, you play a key role in an international and dynamic supply chain. You ensure that millions of bearings are available worldwide at the right time, both for inventory optimization and for direct customer requests.

You will be part of a professional purchasing team of five colleagues, where collaboration, speed, and sharp negotiation are central. With more than ten million bearings in stock and a broad portfolio ofA-brands , you serve an international B2B market in which availability and reliability are crucial.

Are you the detail-oriented and commercially driven Purchaser who strengthens our procurement capabilities?

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily sourcing requests.

• Prepare and analyze replenishment lists with a focus on availability and margin.

• Maintain accurate ERP administration, reporting, and invoice checks.

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance.

• Identify new suppliers and share commercial leads with Sales.

• Willing to travel abroad to attend meetings or events if necessary (1-4 times/year).

What you bring with you:

• Affinity with technical products ( bearings, electric motors or similar) is a strong advantage, and willingness to quickly build product knowledge is essential.

• At least 3 yearsexperience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar commercial role.

• Clear, concise, and professional written communication skills.

• HBO working and thinking level, with a completed relevant commercial education.

• English language (min. B2 level).

• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Our recruitment process

• After a successful first interview, you may be invited to a trainee session of approximately two hours. This session offers you a behind-the-scenes look at ABF, helping you gain a clear understanding of our organization and the role.

• A background check (VOG) and an assessment may be part of the selection procedure.

About ABF

ABF is a strongly internationally oriented trading company with 14 million products in stock. Although the market we operate in is conservative, ABF as a company certainly is not. We are an e-commerce business with a strong IT focus. We have an in-house development team that improves our software daily, making us agile and independent. Only 6% of our customers are in the Netherlands; the remaining customers are primarily in other European countries and are further distributed worldwide.

What we offer you:

• Salary between €3000 and €3500 gross per month + holiday allowance + year-end bonus.

• Location: Eindhoven.

• 28 vacation days , with the option to purchase an additional 5 days.

• One week per year working from abroad.

• 2 days per week working from home (based on 40 hours p/w).

• Daily lunch provided at the office.

• A generous training budget to continuously strengthen your CV: you receive an annual net training budget of up to one gross monthly salary for training and development, with no repayment obligation if the training is relevant to your role.
