You take end-to-end ownership of the Dutch accounting & reporting activities, from month-end close and IFRS reporting to tax, audit, payroll accounting, and internal controls. You act as the first point of contact for accounting-related matters within the Dutch organization and play a key role in translating the financial impact of production, inventory, and cost developments into clear and reliable reporting.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a production-driven finance environment, combining strong technical accounting expertise with team management, coordination, and stakeholder management.

    • Work in close cooperation with the Senior Manager A&R EMEA on priorities and workload distribution.
    • Handle your own operational accounting activities independently.
    • Collaborate closely with Business Control, Operations Control, HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders.

Ensure accurate and timely financial closing & reporting

    • Coordinate the Dutch monthly financial closing cycle and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
    • Ensure accounting is compliant with IFRS, group standards, and local statutory requirements.
    • Review and/or prepare financial specifications and reconciliations with strong focus on P&L understanding and Balance Sheet accuracy ("no surprises").

    • Lead, prepare, and/or participate in review calls for Dutch legal entities.
    • Provide proactive ad hoc analysis when required.
    • Identify and recommend improvements in reporting processes and procedures.

    Audit, internal control & compliance

    • Act as the primary contact for external audit, internal audit, and internal control activities.
    • Align audit planning and execution with external auditors; ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
    • Collaborate with HQ Internal Audit and follow up on audit findings.
    • Execute and review quarterly internal control checks.

    Tax management & transfer pricing

    • Ensure Dutch tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax control execution.
    • Support compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., BUA, WKR).

    Payroll accounting

    • Work closely with the Dutch payroll team.
    • Review monthly payroll outcomes and ensure correct accounting treatment, including special entries.

    Harmonization, systems & continuous improvement

    • Drive harmonization and standardization of processes, procedures, and systems in collaboration with A&R EMEA.
    • Participate in cross-country and cross-departmental improvement projects.
