About the Role:

You will drive the development and optimization of our global demand planning system. Your mission is to perform advanced supply chain data analysis, streamline operational processes, and help shape our planning software to enable smarter, faster, and more reliable decision‑making. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams such as purchasing, planning, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust system logic, algorithms, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze planning and supply chain data to identify inefficiencies (e.g. delivery reliability, inventory levels) and translate insights into actionable process improvements or software enhancements
• Apply state‑of‑the‑art algorithms to optimize planning performance, reduce manual workload, and strengthen global planning stability
• Continuously improve the S&OP process, implement a new Sales Order Management System, and support the transition to SAP S/4HANA
• Adapt business processes to data‑driven planning systems; define accurate mathematical models and validate algorithmic outcomes with real‑world use cases
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, planners, and IT specialists to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into planning tools and system logic
• Contribute to strategic initiatives across Demand Review, Inventory Control, Master Data, and Advanced Planning Software

Profile

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field

• 0-8 years of experience in demand planning or related supply chain processes

• Proven experience in supply chain data analysis and process optimization

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights

• Proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM); experience with S/4HANA is a plus

• Technical skills in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and analytics tools

• Knowledge of advanced planning & scheduling concepts and multi-echelon inventory models

• You bring a proactive, hands‑on mindset and take ownership to drive meaningful improvements

• You communicate clearly, build strong connections across teams, and thrive in a collaborative environment where people work together to achieve ambitious goals

• Fluency in Dutch is mandatory
