What you will do with us

Are you technical and curious about the products and things around you? Do you value sustainability and circularity? If yes, this role is for you! As a Circular Teammate in the Circular Center, you will be working on refurbishing our products. You diagnose, repair, and recondition products that can’t be sold as new.

Some of our Decathlon products end up being returned for a variety of reasons. If something turns out to be wrong with the product, then it starts for us. We are going to breathe new life into it! Instead of throwing it away, we check, replace, and repair what is necessary to prepare the product for sale again!

You have the hands-on mentality to check the 2nd life products and repair them. We will teach you the tricks and support you with various training courses. The team is small and will expand considerably in a short time. A great opportunity for a kickstart in your (sustainable) career within a large company in the Netherlands. We will also work on initiatives such as Buyback and Rental.

Daily work at a glance

• Receive, check, repair, pack and send products
• Together with your teammates you discuss the priority of the day, every day can be different
• After the first month, you develop yourself in a variety of our different projects: Fixing bikes, fixing tents, learning the sewing process, matching unpaired shoes, etc.
• You always think proactively about how we can improve the departments, ideas are always more than welcome!

What we expect from you

• You love to do sports!
• You don't just throw anything away, but repair it if possible. Everything deserves a 2nd life
• You like to learn how things work: you can find solutions online to fix your devices and products
• You have a strong team spirit
• You like to work in an organized manner.
• You have good communication skills, as your will interact with stores and customers. You are fluent in English. Dutch language skills is a plus.
• Availability of 32 - 38 hours per week
• You have a valid visa to work/work permit in the Netherlands and you live in a 30 km radius of our Circular Center in Tilburg. 

WORKING HOURS

No late shifts, no weekend shifts: the repair team works Monday to Friday, from 8.30 till 17.00
