We are looking for a project manager to expand our team. Do you have extensive experience with project management in a technical environment? For almost 80 years, Moba has been providing total solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From production, R&D, service, design, sales, manufacturing, and installation, it all happens in Barneveld. Moba develops modular machines that are configured to customer-specific systems using configure-to-order. In the role of project manager, you will work in our R&D department and be responsible for multidisciplinary development projects from project definition to the start of production. Within these projects, our product portfolio is developed, which is then used at a later stage by colleagues in the Product Engineering department to configure and build systems according to customer requirements. This is an integral role in which your project team includes colleagues from the R&D, product management, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, supply chain planning, and quality departments, with the goal of guaranteeing the quality and launch of the product.

The project manager leads the project team on a daily basis and ensures the project results. You are able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, manage stakeholders, and are not afraid to escalate issues if necessary.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Project management of product development and improvement projects and, depending on your experience, program management.

• Achieving results to support the business in a matrix organization; you drive the organization to achieve results.

• In addition to your project, you keep the business objectives in mind and ensure that the project supports them.

• Integral project ownership: You identify risks and problems and, together with your team, come up with proposals to mitigate them.

• Transparent communication and cooperation between stakeholders;

• Reporting to the PMO Manager and the management team, identifying potential problems, mitigating them, and escalating them if necessary;

• Compliance with the NPDL process.

What we ask of you

• A bachelor's degree in engineering with experience in project management is required and/or a master's degree in management or an MBA, supplemented with project management experience in an industrial environment;
• Proven experience in project and/or program management within a high-tech environment;
• Experience in successfully leading project teams with physical/tangible products from start to completion is strongly preferred;
• Basic knowledge of finance (e.g., income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and understanding of business cases using net present value calculations;
• Proven track record in effective communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
