Functieomschrijving

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Administer and execute Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable transactions through timely and accurate processing, matching, coding and updating into relevant systems in accordance with company policy and procedures in order to provide regular, up-to-date, and accurate information on status or deviations.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal control is in place.
  • Processing of invoices (internal recharges).
  • Carry out suppliers and bank reconciliations by analyzing suppliers and bank statements in order to reconcile differences between suppliers and bank statements and our accounts.
  • Handle all supplier payments for local and overseas vendors by preparing, checking, verifying, posting, and signing all payment vouchers to ensure compliance with payment agreed-on terms.
  • Maintain customer receivables set and meet collection targets on a regular basis by monitoring or controlling payment behavior by controlling credit limits and terms to ensure a healthy customer receivables portfolio.
  • Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Prepare payroll by processing salaries as per salary register and to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
  • Comply with all local regulations (VAT, tax allowance)
  • Contact person for day-to-day business for the Dutch office.

About you:

  • National education (MBO)
  • Experience of working in similar positions for a structured company
  • Knowledge of VAT and Administration rules
  • Excellent planning, time management and prioritization skills
  • Clear professional and open communication both verbal and written between internal and external customers is essential
  • Be proactive and creative on developing innovative possibilities and report them to the superior
  • Passionate team spirit
  • Experience in ERP system
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Good proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) and preferable German
