Jr. Innovation Engineer

As a Jr.Innovation Engineer , you will be committed to push boundaries in the field of technology.

How will you make impact?

We are recruiting a flexible and out-of-the-box thinking Jr. Innovation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing novel, state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions. You will enjoy exposure to the complete Ewals organization and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design prototypes, and bring new ideas to life.

What will you do?

• Develop prototypes, new products, processes and/ or systems.
• Tackle complex issues by structuring, analyzing and evaluate data and prototyping solutions
• Contribute to the ideation process of innovations and priority setting
• Closely work together with stakeholders and draft specifications for innovations required
• Strategic advisory regarding future innovations' necessity

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor or Master background in Engineering, Innovation, Technology or similar with max 0 - 2 years' work experience (experience in the logistics industry is a preference)
• Excellent level of Dutch and English language - other languages are a pre
• Proven experience with programming languages (preferably Python)
• Understanding of the development, impact and actuality of AI
• Hands-on mentality aligned with our company culture
• Think out-of-the-box and able to regard things from a broad spectrum of perspectives
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (both internal and external)
• Passion for innovation and eager to make a difference!
