Description

In this role, you will take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring a timely, accurate, and well-controlled close. You coordinate and review the work performed by the offshore team in India, proactively resolving issues and escalating matters to the Accounting & Reporting Manager when needed.

You are responsible for the accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions, performing regular checks and matching procedures to ensure consistency and data integrity across entities.

Working closely with the Jedox consolidation system, you ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data. You prepare insightful variance analyses, identify anomalies, and translate complex movements into clear and meaningful explanations for stakeholders.

You also prepare audit-ready deliverables, including draft financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation such as intercompany evidence. Acting as a key contact for external auditors, you respondA key point of contact for external auditors, you respond to audit requests in a timely, structured, and professional manner.

Leveraging tools such as SAP, Jedox, Looker, and reconciliation platforms, you contribute to continuous process improvements and system enhancements aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, and reporting quality.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
• Available for 32-40 hours;
• Fluent in English;
• You are located in the area of Venlo.
• No relocation support or work visa sponsorship provided.
