Vacancy Support Engineer

For many years, we have been growing ambitiously. We do this with a team of around twenty-five colleagues, spread across two locations. Our support department plays a key role in this: it is where all customer queries come together, and where you get to know our product, our customers and our company inside and out.

What will you do?

As a Support Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You answer questions by phone and email and assist users when they encounter difficulties with our software. You listen carefully, ask follow-up questions and analyse what is really going on.

You work in a close-knit team with a friendly, informal atmosphere where there is room to be yourself. If you come across a more complex issue, you collaborate with a second-line colleague to help the customer as quickly as possible - sometimes with a direct solution, sometimes with a smart workaround.

You manage your own tickets, work in a structured manner and communicate with a broad range of customers: people with different roles, backgrounds and levels of education. This requires clarity, patience and strong communication skills. A good command of both Dutch and English is therefore essential.

As we operate in a specific niche market, you will acquire the specialist knowledge you need at Centix. General experience is therefore not a requirement. We give you the time to grow and do not expect you to know everything from the outset. Making mistakes is allowed; taking initiative and having the confidence to make decisions are actively encouraged.

The customer sees you as their knowledge partner. IT skills are helpful, but not decisive. A customer-focused mindset, a service-oriented attitude and the ability to communicate with ease will make you successful in this role.

What do we ask?

You don't need to be experienced to work for us. If you've just left school, we'll teach you everything you need to know! We do ask that you:

• A completed college or unitversity education in IT, (Technical) Business Administration, Logistics or related
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of Excel (only collecting and analyzing data for the purpose of importing into Centix)
• Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus (otherwise you will learn this at Centix)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript is a plus (otherwise you will learn this at Centix)
• Proactive attitude towards technological developments

• A temporary contract, with the possibility of permanent employment, and a competitive salary.
