The ON2IT Fast Track Cybersecurity will give you a head start

Are you a digital talent that can't wait to develop further in the online world? Does diving into the ever-changing world of cybersecurity threats excite you? Join our Fast Track Cybersecurity!

The Fast Track Cybersecurity consists of a 7-month intensive training program. We will educate you to become a cybersecurity expert through hands-on training courses and access to experts in their field. You will learn to identify threats and protect companies against those wishing them harm.

What does the traject look like?

Divided up into three clear phases.

GETTING STARTED

In this first phase, you will get to know all the disciplines within ON2IT. You'll follow an introduction course about Zero Trust, the ON2IT Onboarding Course, and take part in introduction sessions with all our departments.

On top of that, together with your manager, you will set up a personal development plan for the upcoming months. This first phase ends with an evaluation.

DEVELOP YOUR SOC SKILLS

Now, you start to work on your SOC analyst skills. Based on your personal development plan, you will work on achieving certificates in the field of networking, endpoint, incident response and cloud.

In the meantime, you gain practical experience at the SOC and learn from your colleagues.

GROW IN MATURITY & SPECIALIZATION

The cybersecurity world is ever changing. This means that all our employees are constantly given the opportunity to take on new training courses. This includes you as well.

After achieving your basic SOC skills, the growth opportunities don't stop! What are your ambitions? What skills would you like to further develop?

The Fast Track Cybersecurity comes with a full salary from day one. As mentioned above, the traineeship lasts for seven months and it includes a multi-year personal development plan, guidance by senior specialists and challenging and varied assignments.

You will be working in an ever-growing field and the training courses we provide will lead to multiple internationally recognized certificates. All of this comes with the prospect of an indefinite contract.

Requirements for the job

What you need to join the Fast Track Cybersecurity

CCNA certification (if you do not have this yet, we can support you with this)

You have a European passport (for the screening)

You can provide a certificate of good conduct (VOG)

You are in possession of a driver's license B

You live within 50 minutes of Zaltbommel

You are open to working in shifts

BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE SOC

What does working in shifts look like?

Our Security Operations Center operates in shifts to offer a continuous 24/7 service. Each shift cycle consists of six consecutive days on duty, followed by four days off.

In the rotation, employees commence with two morning shifts, proceed to two day shifts, and conclude with two night shifts. This pattern continues throughout subsequent cycles.

Before, I worked at a holiday resort as technical maintenance. IT always really appealed to me. In my spare time I would run some VMs and I was testing some networks. Then I started looking into a career switch and eventually, I wound up at ON2IT.
