Electrical Service Technician

At Nedcranes, you'll work as an Electrical Service Technician on modern PLC control systems and drive systems for industrial cranes and machinery. Ready to take your technical skills to the next level within an innovative team? We'd love to meet you!

What will you do ?

As an Electrical Service Technician, you'll be responsible for designing, maintaining, and modernizing control systems. You'll be actively involved in troubleshooting, engineering, and commissioning.

Your main tasks:

• Selecting and engineering hardware and software for control systems
• Modifying and programming PLC controls (including Siemens S7, TIA) and frequency inverters
• Providing support during commissioning and resolving malfunctions
• Performing service and maintenance on control systems and drives
• Setting up and maintaining remote access systems for cranes and machines
• Contributing to new-build and modernization projects
• Inspecting, certifying, and reporting on the technical condition of installations

You'll work both independently and as part of a team on challenging projects throughout the Netherlands.

What do we expect from you?

• MBO level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering (TSI or TBI).
• Proven experience with PLC systems and drive technology
• Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA, and networks such as Profibus/Profinet is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel to project locations within the Netherlands
