Are you creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about social media? Do you want to gain experience in digital marketing and communications with a strong focus on social media? Join us as our Marketing Communications Intern at Danone Nutricia Campus (DNC) in Utrecht, NL , starting in March/April 2026!

As a Marketing Communications Intern , you'll work on digital marketing projects with a primary focus on social media strategy and content creation . You will also support platform-related communications , such as newsletters and content hub management. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop both creative and technical skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

You will be responsible for:

Primary: Social Media Communications

• Collaborate with creative agencies and freelancers to develop engaging social media content that supports our educational mission.
• Plan and manage the posting schedule and content calendar for key social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook).
• Write compelling, on-brand copy for posts and support campaign execution to drive awareness and engagement.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages from our social media community.
• Track performance of social media activities, assist with KPI reporting, and propose optimizations.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.

Secondary: Platform & Digital Channel Support

• Assist in uploading and maintaining content on our content hub using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring SEO optimization and good user experience.
• Support email campaign creation and distribution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Help ensure digital content is consistent, technically sound, and visually aligned with our brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather assets and coordinate on technical or publishing-related topics.
• Assist in performance tracking for newsletters and webpages, contributing to ongoing content optimization.

About you

• You are a student currently pursuing a degree in (Digital) Marketing, Communication Science, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic about social media, creating engaging digital content, and designing visuals that tell compelling stories.
• Technologically adept with a keen interest in exploring and learning new tools and platforms.
• Eager to learn about digital tools like AEM and SFMC,
• Detail-oriented, and project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

As a Marketing Communications intern, you hold a creative mind, and you are enthusiastic for the digital world. You can work autonomously and are eager to participate and own projects. On top of that? You're a curious person with an eye for detail, who's always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
• Ideally available to start in March/April 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Utrecht/Hoofddorp office, at least 1-2 days per week.
