General Practitioner Veldhoven - De Kempen / SHoKo is looking for a member for the client council

Who are we?

SHoKo offers high-quality, accessible and efficient general practitioner emergency care in the evening, night and weekend hours (ANW hours) for approximately 184,500 residents of Veldhoven and the Kempen. From our emergency room in the MMC in Veldhoven, a team of general practitioners and triage nurses work daily on patient safety and optimal care. We attach great importance to the patient perspective and strive to better embed it in our business operations. Participation through the client council is essential for us in this process.

What does the client council do?

The client council plays an important role in thinking along, advising and critically monitoring our policy and our care processes. The members bring in the patient's perspective and ensure that the diversity of our region is represented in decision-making. The council is involved in policy-making at an early stage and meets regularly to formulate recommendations and discuss initiatives that contribute to better care and higher patient satisfaction.

What do we expect from you?

• Interest in healthcare and affinity with acute general practitioners emergency care.
• The ability to read policy documents.
• Empathy and an objective, constructive attitude.
• Willingness to dedicate an average of 6 hours per month to meetings, preparation, and schooling.
• Living in the SHoKo region. In addition, we expect you to be tactful, steadfast, and communicatively strong and to be able to function as a team player.

The Cooperating General Practitioner Organization Kempen and Surroundings, Coöperatief U.A. (SHoKo) was founded by general practitioners working in the Southeast Brabant region. SHoKo provides 'tailor-made care' outside office hours.
