Introductie

At TenneT, we offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the execution of our offshore grid connection systems. As Sub Project Lead Auxiliary for our 2GW HVDC projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical design, quality, and schedule for the auxiliary installation during the construction phase. Together with your team, you will work on innovative solutions that contribute to a stable and sustainable electricity grid.

How do you help keep the Netherlands running? As Sub Project Lead Auxiliary, you will oversee the execution phase of building the 2GW platform, ensuring all aspects of auxiliary systems meet the technical requirements during construction. Location will be at the shipyard / construction site in Batam.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating activities with internal and external technical specialists, ensuring compliance with contracts and standards.
• Monitoring interface processing between sub-project leads, technical specialists, and other stakeholders.
• Managing progress, quality control and interface coordination.
• Preparing and evaluating decision proposals for technical questions and non-performance reports.
• Ensuring the functional readiness factory acceptance tests (FAT's) and system integration of all resources, components, and systems in the field of responsibility.
• Supervising inspections of cooling & seawater systems, drainage, oil leakage, power generation, cranes and sewer systems.

You will also support procurement, manage all technical project management-related activities, and assist with risk and contract management, including review of documentation and lead technical decision-making. You will be responsible for monitoring the contractor's adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations, lessons learned for continuous improvement and the coordination of assigned contractors and internal stakeholders.

This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills.

Jouw profiel & achtergrond

What do you bring?

• Relevant professional experience in technical project management (minimum of 5 years) and a high level of mobility.
• Advanced professional experience in mechanical engineering and auxiliary systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, a high level of assertiveness and independent
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), strong in structured working methods.
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electro-technical or mechanical engineering or a comparable field. In possession of a driver's license.
• You are also experienced in managing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and auxiliary systems, including cooling systems, power generation, and cranes.
• Fluency in English is required for this position, both written and spoken. Job interviews for this position will be (partly) in English. Please send us your application document in English as well.

• Willingness to live for a longer period of time in Batam.

• A temporary contract for 12 months, followed by an indefinite contract.
• 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 9: €4.816,- - €9.472,- gross per month, with 8% holiday allowance and 6% year-end bonus (according to CAO TSO).
• A solid pension via ABP, with 70% of your premium paid by TenneT.
• 43 vacation days per year.
• First 3-6 months will be bases in Arnhem, The Netherlands before moving to Batam on a residential basis. An EU passport is required due to (Dutch) visa laws and regulations.
• All mentioned employment conditions apply to a full-time position unless otherwise stated.

Als blijkt dat er geen bezwaren zijn tegen je aanstelling, staat niets jouw start meer in de weg. Voor sommige functies is een VOG niet afdoende en volgt een uitvoerige screening.

• Nadat alles rond is ga je op de eerste van de maand starten met jouw onboarding bij TenneT. Twee dagen met al jouw nieuwe collega's om te ontdekken wie TenneT is en hoe wij werken. Je leert alle ins & outs kennen. Daarna ga je verder met onboarden binnen je team.
