Financial Accountant (6-Month Maternity Leave Cover)

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to strengthen our finance team for a 6-month maternity leave cover!

We are Bridge Polymers , a leading distributor of high-quality plastic raw materials. Our warehouses are full of… material! We supply these raw materials to end customers for their production processes, while working closely with major petrochemical companies as our suppliers. Bridge Polymers operates in multiple countries, with subsidiaries in Spain, Poland, Romania, and Turkey. Our headquarters is located in the Netherlands. The market we operate in is very dynamic. Thanks to our open, honest, and direct approach, we can act quickly and efficiently, keeping us well-informed about developments in the sector.

What will you do?

Manage and maintain accounting for multiple entities

Update ledgers, post journal entries, and perform reconciliations

Support month-end and year-end closings and audit preparations

Actively contribute ideas for process improvements within the finance department

Who are you?

You have a completed education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

You have 2-4 years of relevant work experience in accounting or financial administration

You have good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes

You work proactively, in a structured and accurate way

You are proficient in English and currently reside in the Eindhoven area or within reasonable commuting distance (up to approximately 1 hour) and are able to work from our office

You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and available to start on a short notice for the duration of the maternity cover, until September 1st 2026.
