For nearly 80 years, Moba has been making innovative, high-tech total solutions for grading, packing and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, we have become a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing over 1 billion eggs daily. From design, development, production and installation to service, we operate worldwide with fifteen offices and more than 900 colleagues.
Our network of regional offices and agencies is primarily responsible for sales and service of our systems. From the Global Service department in Barneveld we support them with knowledge, expertise and centralized services such as the Global Helpdesk and Global Spare Parts.
In addition to being business critical for our customers, spare parts also makes a substantial contribution to Moba's financial results with a turnover of nearly €100M. Our ambition is to take a professionalization step that will enable us to continue to grow sustainably.
Within Global Service you will be responsible for the entire Spare Parts business of Moba. From spare parts strategy (both commercial and logistics) to the actual delivery of parts to our customers, including the administrative handling and follow-up of these orders. An optimal availability of spare parts is crucial for a streamlined operation and optimal functioning of the systems at our customers. Together with your team, colleagues from other departments and regional offices abroad, you ensure timely and complete delivery of spare parts to our customers, totaling more than 100,000 order lines per year and a catalog of over 20,000 SKUs.
As Spare Parts Business Manager, you will step into a versatile, dynamic position. You will balance between strategy to achieve the desired growth and professionalization on the one hand and operational management and improvement of the operation on the other hand. You will be responsible for achieving the set business targets in terms of proposition/portfolio, customer satisfaction, quality, delivery reliability and financial objectives. Examples include:
- Initiating and contributing to strategic projects in the areas of proposition, catalog management, logistics fulfillment redesign, financial/logistics reporting (PowerBI), implementation of a new ERP system, revamping the web shop and further expansion of CRM and PLM applications
- Define and implement strategy to improve customer satisfaction and achieve financial targets
- Optimizing pricing, catalog management and inventory strategies
- Actively mining the Installed Base and supporting regional offices to achieve further growth.
- Managing and developing the central Spare Parts team (5 FTE) responsible for the complete process from order processing to actual delivery to the customer.
- Functional direction of the procurement, warehouse and shipment team within the Operations department (internal supplier) in releasing, monitoring and expediting customer orders.
- Intensive collaboration with regional offices and departments such as Sales/ Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Finance and IT. Jointly work on necessary improvements in processes, organization, systems and data through professional CI methodologies.
- Monitor the operational process: ensure fast, customer-friendly order processing and reliable deliveries

What we ask of you
- Completed WO/ HBO+ education, preferably in the direction of STEM or Technical Business Administration;
- Demonstrated experience and track-record in a similar position, preferably in a B2B environment in the capital goods industry/ after sales;
- Minimum leadership experience as a team leader and in managing teams;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (knowledge of a 3rd language is an advantage);
- You have experience with ERP/ CRM systems and know Excel and Power BI like no other.
