About Hotel Onder de Linden

In the Kop van Drenthe, you will find Onder de Linden. A real family hotel where you feel at home as soon as you step over the threshold. At Onder de Linden, guests enjoy a sumptuous lunch, delicious three-course dinner, cosy snack evening, a wedding party or business meeting.

At our restaurant, delicious and good food in an atmospheric and cosy environment is paramount. We are here for a romantic dinner for two to a buffet for large groups.

The function

As an independent working chef, you will be responsible for preparing the most delicious meals together with our team of kitchen staff! Together with the cooks and service, you will ensure that guests experience an unforgettable evening. You will ensure that the flavours are outstanding and the layout of the plates is Instagram-worthy.

Our wishes

• You have MBO level 4/hbo working and thinking level (preferably supplemented by SVH teaching diploma);
• You have demonstrable knowledge of all cooking techniques;
• You have knowledge of sourcing (fresh) products/ingredients and (the composition of) the menu;
• You are creative and have innovative ideas;
• You are excellent at working independently but also at collaborating well in a team of cooks;
• You have experience in preparing buffets.
