At our rapidly growing logistics hub in Lelystad, we are looking for a hands-on and well-organised Administrative Employee who enjoys working both in the warehouse and in the office. This is a true combination role: you support essential administrative processes, but you also work directly on the shop floor alongside our logistics operators.
You ensure that data, documentation and registrations are accurate, while also helping with operational tasks such as handling inbound/outbound documentation, supporting coordinators and keeping processes running smoothly. If you like variety, enjoy switching between office work and the warehouse floor, and want to be closely involved with the daily operation, this role offers the perfect mix of structure and action.
What your week looks like as an Administrative Warehouse Employee
- Work on the warehouse floor as part of the operational team, supporting operators with tasks such as checking orders, registering goods and preparing shipments.
- Take care of the administrative side of the warehouse, including timekeeping, shipment data, delivery documents, invoices and vendor-related queries.
- Register truck arrivals and departures and ensure that all inbound and outbound paperwork is complete and matches the physical flow of goods.
- Coordinate with Team Leaders and departments (such as transport, stock control and security) to ensure clear, timely information flow and quick resolution of questions or issues.
- Monitor data accuracy, flag discrepancies or damaged goods, summarise incidents where needed and support small improvements in the way we work.
- Work safely and follow GXO standards, contributing to a well-organised, safe and compliant warehouse environment.
What we are looking for
- MBO work and thinking level in administration, finance or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or office-support role.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with a confident and professional attitude.
- Self-driven, resilient and able to work accurately in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
- High attention to quality, with a critical mindset and the ability to deliver precise and reliable work.
- Good financial and administrative skills, including handling documentation, data accuracy and basic invoice processing.
- Strong digital and system skills, with the willingness to continue learning and developing.
- A service-oriented mindset, able to support colleagues and uphold high-quality service for both internal and external stakeholders.
