Intern Digital Supply Chain and R&D

Do you want to work at the headquarters of a multinational company and one of the largest dairy co-operatives in the world? Then this is an excellent opportunity for you as a proactive and self-leading student to bring in all your communication & marketing skills and develop them further.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern Communication & Marketing in our Digital Supply Chain and R&D team. You will help our departments by making sure they know how our team can help them with cutting edge solutions.

This is a full time internship for a period of 6 months (starting February) and you will be located in our head office in Amersfoort.

• Bachelor / Master student (Communication, Marketing or similar)
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (both written and verbal);
• Enthusiastic team player with an entrepreneurial mindset;
• Good planning, communication & stakeholder management skills;

Vacancy description

During your internship you will be part of the Digital team of Supply Chain and R&D. We connect our factories and business departments to our corporate (IT) departments with digital projects. During your internship you will be working with many stakeholders and departments, but with a clear goal; setting up proper (internal) communications and marketing the team. You will do this as an integral part of our team and can harness the knowledge of various digital specialists (Sharepoint, AI, UI/UX, ..)) to make this a true learning experience

The new Digital Supply Chain and R&D team in FrieslandCampina was created in 2025 by merging three Digital and Data & Analytics teams. We enable the realization of business goals by developing digital solutions across the entire chain: R&D, procurement, planning, make, technical & logistics. We're driving competitive advantage for FrieslandCampina by treating our data and analytics as a strategic asset.

Working closely with business stakeholders and the specialists of our global IT department, together with the team of data and analytics experts, you will play a crucial role in shaping and realizing this journey.

Our new team is engaged in many high impact projects and strategies. From fit-for-purpose tooling to data management, reporting, adoption and data-driven decision making, to automation, data science and AI. The Digital Supply Chain and R&D team consists of 25+ members located in the Netherlands. Together we are driving the Data agenda of FrieslandCampina Supply Chain and R&D, creating an engaging journey for our 10.000 professionals to become true data citizens.
