INTRODUCTION

ITV Studios Network is the creative engine that drives the expansion of ITV's format catalogue. We are the team that sits at the center of our global network of over 60 production labels, supporting game-changing ideas from concept to global smash-hit. We are based in our London and Hilversum offices.

As a Format Manager you are working in a team that is a key liaison for the entire wider ITV Studios and external production companies and clients, focused on the roll out of our existing catalogue, delivering production support.

Your primary focus is to support the successful global roll-out of our existing catalogue and the delivery of essential production support from the Hilversum office. This includes overseeing existing and new formats, managing the collection of materials, creation of materials, collection of production data, its storage, and access control. All while working in a dynamic and high paced organization.

WHAT WE DO

• Development and Third-Party Acquisition

We are the creative engine that drives ITV's international format business. We run high-impact, collaborative creative sessions to connect our labels worldwide, ensuring the best ideas are shared and developed across borders. We proactively track global trends , actively fund new ideas , and find opportunities to partner with third-party producers , all with the strategic goal of expanding ITV's portfolio of original programming and formats.

• Production Support

We don't just help find and develop the ideas; we provide the essential production support needed to get them off the ground and onto screens. Since our launch, we have directly supported the production and distribution of over 200 new formats , many of which belong to the biggest in the industry. We are literally on set, in the studio, and everywhere in between, helping to make things happen and ensuring our biggest shows are even bigger, all around the world.

WHAT YOU DO

The Format Manager holds a pivotal role in safeguarding ITV formats and international productions and is responsible for a wide array of duties, including:

• Format and Production Oversight

Coordinating with International Executive Producers (IEP) on matters concerning formats within the catalog and their international productions.

• Material Management

This includes managing the collection, creation, storage, and access control of format-related materials.

• Digital and live events

Supports organizing and executing events like Digital Deep Dives, Catalogue Spotlights and other internal ITV events regarding the format catalogue.

• Cross-functional liaison

Act as a key point of contact and communication between various internal and external parties, including the ITV Creative Network, production support team, internal departments, ITV Studios production companies, and external production companies.

• Systems and Documentation

Manages and utilizes various systems for format information, sales opportunities, and content management, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. This includes systems like GESS, Salesforce, SHARE, and Airtable.

Reporting Structure: Reports into the VP and SVP Network.

WHO YOU ARE

You are flexible and able to adapt quickly in an international media environment. You are service-oriented, a proactive team player, with a strong sense of initiative and leadership. In addition, you are accurate, enthusiastic and have strong communication skills. You are able to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients and colleagues. You can also handle work pressure and deadlines.

• Preferred completed high professional education degree
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in television, production leader level
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in spoken and written form
• Availability of 32-40 hours per week
• IT savvy and knowledge of finance systems and planning systems
• Based in The Netherlands
