Do you have green fingers and a keen eye for growth? For our location in Helmond we are looking for a Junior Grower who wants to contribute to the development of our young strawberry and raspberry plants. Whether you already have experience or are eager to learn: at Genson you get the space to grow in your profession.

About the position

As a Junior Grower, you will be involved in the cultivation process on a daily basis - from initial growth to delivery of strong, healthy plants. You will follow the development of the crop, identify what the plants need and, together with the manager, ensure that the cultivation runs optimally. You will work in an experienced team where sharing knowledge is central and you can count on guidance from our Head of Cultivation.

What will you do?

- You will monitor the crop daily and ensure that plants grow optimally.

- You work together with colleagues and the manager to improve the cultivation processes.

- You check quality and help with cultivation planning.

- You share observations with the head of Cultivation and think about improvements.

- You contribute to a safe and tidy working environment.

What do you bring?

✔ You have a passion for plants and an interest in cultivation.

✔ You are eager to learn, critical and enthusiastic.

✔ You have a relevant MBO or HBO education (plant cultivation, horticulture or similar) or some experience in the field.

✔ You are a team player, communicate well and work accurately.

✔ You are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
