Are you practical, do you have green fingers and do you enjoy working in a greenhouse environment? For our location in Someren we are looking for a Junior Grower to help with the care and development of our strawberry and raspberry plants. Whether you have experience or want to learn: at Genson you get the space to further develop your knowledge and skills.

Your Role

As Junior Grower you will work in our greenhouses and contribute to healthy and productive cultivation. You will observe the plants daily, identify what is needed for optimal growth and support the manager and the cultivation team in implementing the cultivation plans. You will learn from experienced colleagues and receive guidance from the Head of Cultivation.

What you will do.

- Check plants daily and ensure they remain healthy and productive.

- Collaborate with colleagues and the farm manager to improve cultivation processes.

- Monitor quality and yield and think about improvements.

- Contribute to a safe and tidy working environment in the greenhouses.

What do you bring?

✔ Passion for plants and interest in greenhouse cultivation.

✔ Practical, eager to learn and accurate attitude.

✔ Relevant MBO or HBO education (plant cultivation, horticulture or similar) or experience in the sector.

✔ Team player who communicates well.

✔ Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
