Your role

As a Commercial Scientific Writer, you will work within the Corporate Communications team and collaborate closely with colleagues from B2B Marketing, Sales, and R&D. You will bridge the gap between science and commerce by translating complex research insights on the microbiota and probiotics into accessible, relevant, and persuasive content for our business partners.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Writing and editing scientific and medical content on the microbiome and probiotics, such as educational marketing materials for business partners, newsletters, website content, presentations, infographics, and research summaries.
• Translating complex scientific insights into clear, commercially relevant messages ("what's in it for our business partners"), adapting tone and content to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, marketing teams, and consumers.
• Converting current research data and market trends into impactful content.

What do we ask of you?

You have a strong scientific foundation and a genuine enthusiasm for communicating knowledge in a clear and engaging way. You collaborate well, are analytically strong, and understand the needs of different audiences.

Additionally, you have:

• A completed bachelor's degree, preferably a master's, in a life sciences-related field (such as microbiology, biomedical sciences, nutrition, or medicine).
• Knowledge of or strong affinity with the microbiome and probiotics.
• In-depth understanding of disease and health mechanisms with a focus on the microbiota.
• Experience making scientific information accessible for commercial purposes, preferably outside academia.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• The ability to translate complex material into understandable, relevant, and persuasive content in text, visual, and presentation formats.
