Do you enjoy working with electrical installations and are you not afraid of voltage? As a Traction Technician at Infraservices, you work on complex systems that ensure the power supply of trams, metros and electric buses. Are you up for the challenge?

What will you do?

To provide our vehicles with electricity, we use rectifier stations, overhead lines and a third rail. These are essential systems that must work reliably and safely. That’s why you, as a Traction Technician, are indispensable! Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the maintenance of our medium and low voltage installations. Your tasks include:

• Switching operations and overhauls;

• Preventive and corrective maintenance;

• Troubleshooting faults.

You will work both indoors and outdoors, throughout the Rotterdam region. The work continues 24/7, so you will work irregular shifts, including one on-call week and one night shift week per month. Thanks to your efforts, our metros, trams and electric buses keep running!

Who are we looking for?

Safety and craftsmanship come first. You have a passion for technology and vehicles, and you don’t stop until a system works perfectly again. In addition, you are eager to learn and willing to develop further, for example into a work supervisor.

What you bring:

• A completed MBO education in electrical engineering (at least level 3);

• Extensive experience with medium and low voltage installations;

• A category B driving licence.

Your base of operations is the ‘s-Gravenweg depot, but you’ll work a lot outside – sometimes in wind and rain, sometimes in lovely sunshine. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of 12 colleagues who all pull together. Want to keep learning? We offer plenty of training opportunities.
