Are you a driven, experienced 5-axis operator who takes on every challenge with precision and ownership? At The Set Company we're not looking for a button-pusher. We're looking for a craftsperson with an eye for quality, safety and teamwork.

About The Set Company

For almost 30 years, The Set Company has combined traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. We deliver unique, custom projects for retail brands, architects, designers, agencies, hospitality and more. Our team turns ideas into reality. From concept to final installation.

You'll set up and operate our 5-axis CNC machine and ensure products are made to specification and tolerance, with constant attention to quality, efficiency and safety. You'll work closely with our builders, work preparation team, machining and assembly to deliver the agreed result.

In practice, you will:

Programme (CNC/CAM) and optimise operations for multi-axis milling and turning parts.

Set up machines (tooling and fixturing).

Perform in-process inspections and adjust where needed.

Maintain and clean your workstation and machine according to the maintenance plan.

Spot deviations, malfunctions or defects and act proactively.

Safeguard a safe working process, for yourself and those around you.

Contribute to continuous improvements in production techniques, methods and efficiency.

What you bring

At least 3 years' experience on multi-axis CNC machines, preferably 5-axis.

Strong spatial insight, attention to detail and a quality mindset.

Flexibility.

Social, communicative and a true team player.

Proactive attitude: process improvement is second nature to you.

Safety-first: you work with care for your own safety and your colleagues'.

Our European Tommy project takes the spotlight. This time featuring installations we've delivered in Düsseldorf, London and Amsterdam.

A warm wooden backdrop combined with the signature Tommy Hilfiger colours gives each space its own distinctive character while maintaining a consistent brand feel.

Bibi van der Velden storefront hoarding

A 3D hoarding like no other, for a flagship store that's anything but ordinary. This unique façade mimics the Bibi van der Velden shopping bag, brought to life in custom-made 3D.

Behind the scenes, we're now crafting the extraordinairy interior.

Opening early September on the Van Baerlestraat, so stay tuned!

SkyNRG bench end result.

SkyNRG office bench

For the SkyNRG office in Amsterdam, we crafted a 12-metre long bench with a flowing silhouette.

Shaped with precision, the piece brings movement and warmth into the heart of the workspace. This bench invites informal meetings, focused work and spontaneous conversations.

A clean and functional eye-catcher, designed for daily use and long-term durability.

For the flagship store of this iconic Italian luggage label, we created a cast of unique, breathing mannequins and other bright yellow elements. Including a striking seven-metre tall figure that connects the two floors of the space.

A clean and crisp takeover, now live on the top floor of De Bijenkorf. Shaped to reflect Margiela's unmistakable visual language. Minimalist, elegant and with a clear sense of direction. A temporary setting with timeless presence.
