About the job

As New Construction Project Coordinator, you take the first step in the process of new projects. Based on triggers received through order intake, you will be invited to participate in an initiation meeting of a new construction or reconstruction project. Stakeholders in these are building developers, construction companies, combi organisations, municipalities, water boards, etc. As project coordinator, you work closely with the Order Intake Coordinator and employees of the business office. You assess, based on the triggers received, what information you need to participate in the initiation/construction consultation, such as existing network registration data, environmental factors (motorways, waterways, highways, dykes, etc.). You collect this data in consultation with the engineers/work planners from the business office. You record the results of the consultations in a report/log and submit and discuss them with the engineer/work planner, after which they can make a design. If necessary, you also participate in follow-up consultations for the projects. Furthermore, you work together with the delivery lines that will eventually realise the project, feedback from you may be desirable.

Some of your duties include:

• Receives new applications/orders for new construction projects
• Assesses incoming requests for completeness and correctness of the information and documents supplied and viewable in Xaris (=clean order check)
• Collects network registration data, environmental factors (motorways, waterways and highways, dykes, etc.), required for consultation forms
• Makes construction and project agreements with stakeholders
• Review of regulations ((technical, licensing, safety and environmental)
• Provides engineer/planning engineer with information for preparation of sketch and detailed design
• Participates in initiation, construction and combi consultations
• Does reporting on the various consultations attended and agreements made

• Monitoring communication regarding agreements made
• Reports to business office
• Participation in toolboxes
• Implementing VGKIM policy
