Via Chassé is a family-owned business that has been importing private label products for European retail chains for over 45 years, specializing in household goods, textiles, stationery, and hobby products. Our office and distribution center in Maurik form the heart of our organization, where we work with a fast-growing team to achieve our ambitious goals. To support our growth, expansions are planned for both our distribution center and IT infrastructure in 2025.

What does your role look like?

As an Assistant Buyer, you will be part of our purchasing team, responsible for both sales (quotes and deals) and purchasing of products. You play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers. Your tasks include confirming orders, gathering the right information, ensuring product quality, and meeting delivery deadlines. You'll ensure that the process runs smoothly and process all steps in our ERP system.

• Maintain contact with customers and suppliers
• Place purchase orders with the correct product details
• Ensure product quality by requesting and reviewing samples
• Confirm sales orders and communicate product details with customers
• Process all steps in our ERP system

Who are you?

You have an eye for detail, can prioritize effectively, and are efficient with computer systems. Additionally, you have:

• Availability of at least 32 hours per week
• Experience in purchasing is a plus
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• An HBO diploma is a plus
• Residence near Maurik (maximum commute of 30 minutes)
