At Bayards Yacht Structures, you will work on high-end aluminium yacht constructions for the world's most renowned shipyards. We are looking for a driven (Junior) Project Manager who is ready to take responsibility and grow into a coordinating role.

Whether you already have a few years of project management experience or have just completed your bachelor's degree (HBO) and want to develop further: with us you will have the opportunity to grow into a fully-fledged Project Manager.

What will you do?

As a (Junior) Project Manager at Bayards Yacht Structures, you will have the chance to contribute to prestigious superyacht projects while developing yourself. You are the link between client, engineering and production, ensuring that projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from initiation to delivery : you are responsible for planning, quality, safety and budget.
• Translating client requirements into technical solutions : you bridge commercial agreements and technical reality, turning challenges into practical, achievable plans.
• Collaborating with internal teams : engineering, work preparation, procurement and production rely on your guidance and oversight.
• Managing project teams and external partners : you motivate, coordinate and ensure everyone knows what is expected of them.
• Monitoring progress and risks : you identify bottlenecks early and take action to keep projects on track.
• Communication and reporting : you maintain contact with clients, suppliers and classification societies, and provide clear reports and financial forecasts.
• Documentation and certification : you coordinate compliance with all requirements and quality standards.
• Evaluation and improvement : after delivery, you analyse the project and share lessons learned so we can work smarter and more efficiently.

In short: you will have the chance to take direct responsibility , while also growing in your role and gradually taking full ownership of prestigious yacht projects.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor's degree (HBO), preferably in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology.
• Experience in project management, or the ambition to grow into it.
• Affinity with yacht building or the maritime sector is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• A structured way of working and the ability to maintain oversight, even under pressure.
• Good command of both Dutch and English.
