To facilitate the systematic monitoring, evaluation and learning of the work of Liliane Fonds and MIVA and their partners, we are looking for a:

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PMEL) Adviser

This is a temporary position of 0,6 FTE for 12 months.

What will you do?

As a PMEL Adviser, you are responsible for supporting the systematic monitoring, evaluation and learning of the work of Liliane Fonds and of MIVA and their partners to improve programme quality and determining programme strategies. We develop multi-year country programmes with their own Theory of Change, and you will play an important role in this.

You promote and monitor the implementation of the PMEL policy and programme policies/strategies in collaboration with Programme s and Thematic Leads.

In the role of PMEL Adviser you support the Programmes Department and partner organisations in all elements of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle. This includes support in the development of Theories of Change, results frameworks and Terms of References for evaluations. When reports are received, you will provide feedback and advise on the quality of the results. You also advise and support the Institutional Fundraising team in developing and (co-)writing proposals for external donors regarding monitoring and evaluation.

Through your work, you will make an impact on the visibility and effectiveness of Liliane Fonds and MIVA and contribute to improving the living conditions of children with disabilities worldwide.

What do you bring?

• At least 3 years of experience in giving advice, coaching or training in PMEL in an international setting.
• Knowledge of and experience with technical skills in the use of qualitative and quantitative methods to measure progress, results and impact.
• Experience with co-developing proposals for external donors, specifically related to project logic and other M&E sections.
• A command of the English language, both spoken and written, at C1/C2 level and a good command of French is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to programme countries of Liliane Fonds and MIVA.
• You are able to work in the Netherlands and to be present at the office for at least 50% of your working time.

You will receive a salary between € 3.244 and € 5.214 gross per month (based on full-time employment of 38 hours per week, excluding indexation as of January 2026) for a period of 12 months.
