Internship F&B Sales job profile

As an F&B Sales intern, you'll support the team in translating F&B offerings into attractive proposals for our clients. You'll participate in the commercial process, from creating menus and preparing quotes to maintaining contact with clients and catering partners. You'll also assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the execution of large conferences and events.

With us, you'll learn how to use Food & Beverage to truly enhance events. You'll discover the commercial process of F&B at a major international event venue. You'll also learn to collaborate with various teams, catering partners, and international clients. You'll also develop skills such as planning, communication, prioritization, and customer-focused thinking. You'll quickly be assigned your own responsibilities and see firsthand how the F&B side of large events comes to life, from tasting and menu creation to the moment thousands of guests are served.

What you'll do | Main responsibilities during your F&B Sales internship

• Thinking about the right food and drinks for different types of events and target groups;

• Attend tastings so you know what you are offering to customers;

• Maintain contact with catering and customers;

• Create small quotes yourself and assist with large requests;

• Administrative tasks such as price updates, menu overviews, email and CRM;

• Participating in large conferences and special events;

Who you are | We'd love to find out!

You're pursuing a higher professional education (HBO) degree, for example, in hospitality, commercial economics, sales, or hotel management. You're interested in Food & Beverage and enjoy contributing to F&B concepts. You also have an affinity for sales and enjoy interacting with customers and suppliers. You're hands-on, eager to learn, and take initiative easily. You thrive in teamwork, remain flexible with changes, and communicate clearly in both Dutch and English.
