The Logistics Supervisor plays a crucial role between the Head of Supply Chain and the Team Leaders, ensuring smooth operations by leading and coaching Team Leaders, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring alignment between the planning specialist and process administration functions. You will also be responsible for reporting and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders to ensure high performance, providing guidance, training, and support. Collaborate on creating Achievement & Development Summaries (ADS) with clear objectives and actionable development plans, and monitor progress with constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain employee timesheets, manage absence reports to ensure smooth team operations.
• Manage order processing and fulfillment for recognition pins.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to order promotional materials.
• Ensure alignment and communication between the planning specialist and process administration roles for seamless operations.
• Create, maintain, and report on Logistics KPIs, driving improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reviewing and updating them annually.
• Participate in recruitment activities to select talent for the logistics team.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks within logistics and escalate to the Head of Supply Chain with proposed actions.
• Promote a secure, safe, and healthy work environment by upholding company policies and legal regulations.
• Serve as a member of the Health & Safety committee, ensuring high standards within the warehouse.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to meet and exceed delivery service level agreements.

As a Logistics Supervisor, the successful candidate will lead and coach Team Leaders, oversee recruitment processes, ensure alignment between planning and process administration functions, and manage and report on KPIs to guarantee the efficient, safe, and timely fulfilment of customer orders.

Functie-eisen

• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development within a logistics environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in warehouse procedures and policies.
• Health & Safety qualifications preferred (e.g., VCA, BHV).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent skills in MS Office.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
