As a Project Leader or Project Manager at Vicoma , you are involved in projects from start to finish and you ensure that all parties are satisfied upon delivery. You understand that the customer wants to be taken care of and that you play an important role in this.

Project management at Vicoma

In the position of Project Leader or Manager you are part of the EPCm Services department (Engineering, Procurement and Construction management). That is why it is good to know that our EPCm Services department has a lot of expertise in Project Management. We have all the knowledge in-house in the field of Procurement, Construction Management, Cost Engineering/Control and Document Control.

As a project leader or manager you are in charge of various projects. You take responsibility for, for example, the budget, planning and risk management. You are the customer's point of contact and inform team members within various disciplines about the customer's wishes and requirements. As the person ultimately responsible for the project, the direction and overview of the entire project is in your hands. To do this, you monitor costs and prepare reports for the projects. Because these are multidisciplinary projects, you work closely with the departments involved.

Yes, at Vicoma we work hybrid and flexible . The guideline is that with full-time employment you work from home for a maximum of 2 days. To make this possible, you will receive a company laptop and telephone. We also think it is important that you can properly set up your home workplace. That is why we facilitate this with the necessary resources, such as a desk, office chair, screen (including USB-C docking station), keyboard and computer mouse.

What training do I need as a Project Leader or Project Manager?

To work as a Project Manager at Vicoma you need at least a HBO working and thinking level. We prefer an education or background in technology for this role.

Can I continue to grow as a Project Leader or Project Manager?

Absolute. As a Project Leader you can progress to a Project Manager. But you can also grow into a department manager. It just depends on where your ambition lies.
