FMCG vacatures in Delft

Do you have proven leadership experience in the food industry and enjoy being involved on the production floor yourself? We’re looking for a hands-on foreman to guide the production and packaging of meat products in Delft.

As a Working Foreman, you’ll be responsible for supervising part of the production and packaging process. You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly and step in where needed. Your focus will be on quality, efficiency and safety. This includes carrying out spot checks on products (looking at things like colour, smell and temperature), as well as checking machines and carrying out basic preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.

The role is mainly in day shifts, though since production runs between 06:00 and 22:00, you may work on a shifted day schedule. No two days are the same, which keeps the job varied and engaging.

Your main responsibilities:

• Supervising and motivating a team on the production floor;
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet set standards;
• Monitoring and checking machines to prevent downtime;
• Working alongside your team where necessary to keep production moving.

• A salary between €2,959.92 and €4,236.34 per month, depending on experience;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (from 10 km one way);
• 24 days’ holiday plus 8.33% holiday allowance;
• Pension from day one;
• A full-time 40-hour contract;
• Year-end bonus of 3.25%;
• Direct or later permanent contract with the company;
• Regular company events such as barbecues, celebrations and team activities.

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills who is confident making decisions and working independently. You enjoy a mix of leading and working alongside your team.

You’ll need:

• Solid leadership experience in food production (meat industry or butchery background is a plus);
• MBO level education, ideally in food technology, butchery or similar;
• Full-time availability;
• Living in or near Delft, with your own transport;
• Ability to communicate in Dutch and/or English;
• Knowledge of meat, cuts, and food safety processes is a strong advantage.
