(Shadowing) Placement/Internship Global Logistics & IT (meeloopstage)

In this internship, you will be part of a small team of Global Logistics & IT, working together to identify business needs and translate them into IT solutions that are applicable globally. You will be working and aligning with colleagues from Thailand, Brazil, Mexico, US & Spain and help them with forming their IT requirements within Logistics. You will help the team with testing, preparing User training sessions and materials. You will have the opportunity to support the logistics teams with daily operational work which will help you to understand the versatile operations of Corbion and all its challenges, as well as with its continuous improvement.

Context:

In 2021 Corbion implemented SAP, and Transportation Management Module of SAP to manage its Global Logistics. To further improve and streamline the Logistics and Supply Chain Management by the use of SAP, there are several projects within the Logistics team: expand the SAP TM module, improve functionality, adjust configuration of different functionalities. In addition, we are working on continuous improvement and on innovation projects centered around real-time data and analytics on Logistics.

Assignment:

• Support the project teams with project management activities, such as scheduling meetings, taking care of meeting notes, follow up on actions and maintaining activity trackers
• Support in preparation of user trainings, ppt presentations, creation flow charts
• Support in testing activities of newly developed solutions
• Support the team in identifying & consolidating the global requirements and help in translating them into attainable IT solutions
• If there is an interest, participate in daily operations in the team in NL (to support with the business requirements)
• Review existing processes and propose improvements
• Monitor/audit several internal processes related to logistics, logistics costs, OTIF
