F&B Shift Leader

F&B Shiftleader

Objective

The F&B shift leader is an experienced hospitality professional who is ready for the next step with more responsibilities. The F&B shift leader shares responsibility for supporting daily operations, coordinating task distribution during shifts, and performing duties such as cash register closure and end-of-day procedures. Additionally, the F&B shift leader contributes to optimizing operational processes, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, and maintaining a positive and productive working environment.

Daily tasks

• Supporting daily operations on the work floor.
• Carrying out cash register closure and end-of-day procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Contributing to a positive, guest-oriented working environment.
• Identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.

Projects

• Identifying opportunities for improvement in guest experience and team dynamics.
• Providing input for training and onboarding of new team members.
• Contributing to the implementation of new service concepts or menu changes.

Teamwork and collaboration

• Collaborating with colleagues to optimize the guest experience.
• Assisting with the onboarding and guidance of new team members.
• Works closely with the F&B supervisors, maître, and F&B manager.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the hospitality industry within the F&B sector.
• Team player with a supportive attitude.
• Knowledge of F&B operations, including product knowledge and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems and financial closures.
• Relevant certifications and training in the hospitality industry (e.g. SVH, HACCP) are a plus.

Working conditions

• Shift between 12:00 - 00:30 (depending on a morning or evening shift).
• Working in the hospitality sector with a dynamic, international and lively atmosphere.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and sometimes carry heavy trays or objects.
• Indoor environment, dynamic and sometimes busy atmosphere.

32 - 40 hours per week

Salary: from € 2530,- (based on 40 hours)
