Manager M&A

As an M&A Manager, you'll play a key role in guiding mergers and acquisitions within the SME sector. You'll manage various transaction teams and ensure projects are completed successfully and on time. You'll be responsible for the entire process, from strategic advice to transaction completion, and play a crucial role in acquiring new business.

In this role, you'll be a key contact for entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders. You'll navigate stakeholders quickly, understand complex issues, and offer customized solutions. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best results.

What are you going to do?

Project management

: You'll coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams in various acquisition projects, ensuring the efficient and successful execution of each project. You'll monitor progress, ensure clear communication between stakeholders, and ensure deadlines and objectives are met.

Strategic advice

: You'll advise entrepreneurs at the highest level and act as a sparring partner in making complex strategic decisions. You'll apply your expertise in business operations and market analysis to help entrepreneurs make well-considered choices that support their business goals.

Market opportunities

: You independently identify new market opportunities and generate leads to acquire new business. You closely monitor market trends and adapt your strategies to optimally meet the needs of potential clients.

Coaching

: You coach and mentor (junior) colleagues, sharing your knowledge and experience to support their professional growth. You help them develop the skills needed for success in M&A and foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Process management

: You'll be responsible for the complete execution of transactions, from strategy development to process completion. You'll maintain a structured approach and monitor compliance with procedures, ensuring transactions are completed on time and within budget.

Relationship management

: You'll maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and connect with new prospects to build lasting partnerships. You'll build trust by consistently delivering value and combining your customer-focused approach with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.

• More than 7 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, consultancy or the banking sector.
• Extensive transaction experience and an affinity with SMEs.
• Excellent communication skills and can act as a sparring partner at a strategic level.
• Completed financial and economics HBO or WO education.
• Entrepreneurial mentality and speaks the language of the entrepreneur.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.
