Procurement Excellence Consultant

Make a difference in procurement for over 110 colleagues worldwide by optimizing processes and systems that impact thousands of contracts and supplier relationships.

You and your job

Lead and shape procurement solutions by translating business needs into functional designs for the Ariba system, ensuring professional realization and implementation. As a Procurement Excellence Consultant, you have a good understanding of both Procurement and Procurement applications, driving continuous improvement and supporting implementation projects. In this role your job does not end once a project is delivered but you remain involved in the successful adoption and usage of the solutions you have implemented.

Practical Examples

• Leading S2P (Source-to-Pay) initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Understanding new regulatory requirements and work in a team to translate into updated Procurement solutions
• Supporting the implementation of PRISMA (Ariba Upstream) as the global source for supplier and contract data.

• Identify and capture business needs, driving process and system solutions.
• Deliver functional designs and perform feasibility studies on new requirements.
• Support implementation projects and ensure solutions are implemented as designed.

The 110 people in Procurement & Vendor Management are responsible for strategic category management, sourcing & contracting, supply risk management, supplier and contract life cycle management, and requisition-to-pay. You and your talent

• Professional Bachelor/Master level knowledge
• At least 5 year experience with and deep knowledge of global procurement processes & systems (Source-to-Pay)
• Solid design and implementation experience with Ariba Source to Contract, Supplier Management, and Risk modules
• Good understanding of Ariba buying
• Proven execution power: get things done together, in time and with the right quality
• Strong communicator, fluent in English and preferably in Dutch
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
• Knowledge of procurement in financial services industry is a pre
• Highly analytical, whilst keeping a strong customer focus and taking ownership pro-actively
