What will you do?

During your internship, you will be the first point of contact for your colleagues on IT-related questions and problems.

Your duties will include:

• Taking, recording and prioritising calls via phone, email and our internal ticketing system.
• Providing basic solutions to technical problems, such as system access, printer problems or network failures.
• Assisting colleagues in installing and configuring software and devices.
• Transferring complex issues to 2nd-line support within the team.

About the job

During your internship, you will go through the entire design process. You will convert a customer's question into a workable prototype. You will continue working on optimising an existing design. You will work on making the process or product more sustainable.

An example of a project is improving a 3D printed insole. Here, you can work iteratively on a new design through rapid prototyping. Using state-of-the-art analysis setups, the development is then tested. For example, with pressure measurement sensors or motion capture (dynamic analysis). This data can be used to make a digital copy of your design (digital twinning). This allows topology optimisation to be applied to the design, for example.

During your internship, you will independently take charge of your own project and we offer you experienced guidance. We also have the latest production techniques at our disposal, such as various 3D printers (SLA, FDM and SLS), milling machines and laser cutters to realise your design. We will work with you to find an assignment that excites you.

What do we ask of you?

• You are a second- or third-year student studying IT, ICT management or a similar field.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Office 365 and other common IT systems.
• An inquisitive attitude and a desire to develop yourself.
• A problem-solving ability.
