Job Description

We are looking for an Information Security Officer for our global organisation. In support of Fugro's digitalization journey and nature of its business as a geo-data company, there is a need to improve the Information Security posture. Within this role you will report to the Global Information Security Manager, and you will play a key role in improving and controlling our information security policies. You will also be responsible that the Information Security Management System is well understood, adopted and implemented throughout the organization. You collaborate closely with stakeholders across all functions and regions and continuous improvement is your driver.

Your role

• You are part of a multi‑disciplined central information security team reporting directly to the Global Manager of Information Security, where you will be responsible for continuously improving our information security policies and coordinating effectively with regional organizations;

• You have a solid understanding of performing risk assessments as an input for policy maintenance;

• You work with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architecture and other stakeholders across functions to identify the information security risks and to ensure the standards are being followed;

• You provide feedback on security compliance to various stakeholders on every level in the organization, in support of continuous improvement and setting priority areas;

• You are a team player who gets things done while guiding and supporting others by sharing background, information, and knowledge both verbally and through clear documentation;

• You drive and achieve a clear positive change to the Information Security posture, through regular engagement and collaboration;

• You actively share knowledge and insights to increate Information Security awareness throughout the organization.

Your track record

• You have a BSc or MSc degree in Information Security, Information Technology or relevant professional experience and at least 5 years experience in information security;

• You can demonstrate excellent knowledge on Information Security industry standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework;

• You are in the possession of a CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus;

• You have experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in obtaining and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.

• You are an effective and efficient communicator who can build the bridge across all levels of the organization;

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.

What Fugro offers

• A gross monthly salary between €6600 and €7330, depending on your relevant experience. This amount falls within our salary range and offers opportunities for growth within the role;
